Description
Your roleAre you interested in pursuing a long-term career in asset management? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in both client acquisition and strategic sales support? Are you eager to learn about investment strategies and product offerings from a global asset manager?
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern who is excited about gaining hands-on experience in generating new business as part of the RFP (Request for Proposal) team, with the opportunity to contribute across various Sales Management functions depending on team priorities and workload.
You will primarily support the RFP team in preparing high-quality responses to RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs, helping to win new business and retain existing clients. In addition, you may assist other Sales Management sub-teams - including Sales Insights & Technology, Sales Management Specialists, Pricing & Business Analytics, and Sales Offering & Market Insights - on selected initiatives.
The main tasks of your role are:
• To assist in coordinating and preparing accurate, timely RFPs, RFIs (Requests for Information) and DDQs (Due Diligence Questionnaires) under the guidance of experienced team members for prospect clients and existing clients according to internal brand/style guidelines and compliance regulations.
• To collaborate closely with senior RfP team members, portfolio managers, investment specialists and subject matter experts to improve RFP answers, ensure key messages are understood, and present our capabilities in the most compelling way possible.
• To ensure the RFP database is kept up-to-date and accurate, and quality continually improved
• To help the team identifying and implementing digital solutions that enhance our processes
• To contribute to cross-functional tasks and projects within Sales Management, depending on business needs and your interests.
Your team
You will be part of the RFP (Request for Proposals ) team with members in Europe, APAC, US and Switzerland. We support sales teams globally. In particular, you will engage with them providing RFP responses and investment proposals on a wide range of investment products. Our team has a direct impact in meeting sales targets and therefore in supporting business growth and client engagement. You will also have exposure to other Sales Management teams, gaining insight into how data, analytics, pricing and market intelligence support strategic decision-making.

Your expertise
Your experience and skills
• In the last year of studies or having recently finished studies in Business Administration, Finance or similar. Studying for CFA or similar is a plus
• A keen interest in financial markets, and good understanding of investment concepts and investment products
• Familiarity with data analytics and basics of e.g. Python, SQL, PowerBI/PowerPivot, PowerAutomate is a strong advantage
• Fluent English with excellent writing and proof-reading skills: an additional European language (e.g. French or Italian) is a plus, while proficiency in German would be a strong plus
• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, accuracy and comfortable using methodical approach to tasks
• Confident communicator, both orally and in writing
• Ability to work with stakeholders locally and remotely as well as cross functions
• Curious to learn and to grow
