The 10-week internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced media industry, working on assignments across Dow Jones's suite of products and services.\nThis role is hybrid, based in our NYC - 1211 Ave of the Americas City office.\nYou Will:\nContribute to the development of engaging and compelling content for various communication channels, including press releases, executive communications, social media and the company intranet\nMonitor and analyze media coverage relevant to the company and industry trends. Summarize key findings for distribution to internal stakeholders\nAssist in the planning and execution of corporate events, including preparing materials and coordinating logistics\nTrack earned media, speaking engagements and broadcast appearances and assist in the creation of coverage reports tied to key events and product announcements\nContribute to the management of our corporate social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling posts and engaging with our online community\nWork closely with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to ensure consistency and alignment in all Dow Jones communications\nYou Have:\nCompleted at least two years toward your bachelor's degree with a focus on communications, public relations, marketing or a related field\nBY NEXT SUMMER, YOU WILL BE: either a rising junior or rising senior in your undergrad program\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor messages for different audiences\nAbility to handle confidential or otherwise sensitive information with discretion\nExperience creating engaging social media content and a keen interest in staying updated on the latest digital trends\nAttention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a deadline-driven environment\nA positive attitude, eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to tasks\n\nSalary: $25.00/hour\n#LI-Hybrid
