Join the Student Challenge "Your Step into Solvation Science" to shape the future of research in this field. We encourage Master and PhD students worldwide, specializing in natural sciences, medical science, or engineering, to participate. No age limit applies.

Benefits for winners include a three-month fully funded research opportunity at RESOLV, a premier international research environment. You'll develop your scientific and professional skills while bringing your ideas to life. You will get a monthly stipend and a fixed-rate reimbursement of your travel expenses to Germany. There is flexibility in choosing your research period up until August 2027. Winners may wish to plan their stay to attend the RESOLV Summer School Solvation Science in May (26-29) 2026. All participants need to have International health insurance with repatriation in case of serious illness for full period of staying in Germany. 

Requirements

For your application, you will need to upload your:

Research proposal (1 page)
CV with contact details and affiliation (max. 2 pages)
Letter of motivation related to Solvation Science (1 page)
Diploma of your finished education level (Bachelor or Master) and Transcript. Please don't send a transcript of the middle of the course.
Prerequisites: Current Master's and PhD students in the fields of Natural Sciences, Medical Sciences, or related topics of Engineering
