NLR AI Tech Leaders Summer Internship Program
Summer 2026 Internship Program and Application
Application Deadline:May 31, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. EST
Program Dates: Approximately June 1, 2026 – August 21, 2026 with some options for part-time opportunities during the academic year after the summer program concludes.
Time Commitment: Approximately 10-25 hours per week
Compensation: $18-$28 per hour depending on experience and location.
Highly Selective: Candidates will interact with AI and legal tech leaders
Location: Remote – Open to U.S. and International applicants
The National Law Review (NLR) is pleased to launch the NLR AI Tech Leaders Summer Internship Program, designed to identify students and emerging professionals interested in the rapidly developing intersection of AI, prediction markets, finance and law.
Interns will join a highly entrepreneurial team and engage with Gary Chodes, CEO of The National Law Review and his management team.
Interns will encounter, research and tackle important emerging issues such as:
Innovation at the intersection of AI and the legal profession
Novel applications of prediction markets that impact finance, the legal profession, government, elections, and court systems in the U.S. and globally
Emerging issues in AI governance and regulation
Unidentified risks in AI and prediction markets
Developments in legal technology affecting the financial services industry
Eligibility
This highly selective program is open to:
Undergraduate students, graduate and doctoral students with backgrounds in technology, computer science, math, engineering, statistics, economics, and finance.
Current 1L, 2L, or 3L law students or rising 1L’s with an interest in technology, AI, finance or prediction markets
Other interested applicants in fields such as law, artificial intelligence, technology, information technology, public policy, communications, or related disciplines
Time Commitment and Program Structure
The fellowship will run from June 1, 2026 through August 21, 2026. After the end of the summer internship program, where applicable, some offers may be extended to interns for continuing part-time work during the academic year.
The internship structure is intended to make the internship flexible and accessible to participants who may also be working, studying, or engaged in other summer opportunities. Weekend and evening hours are available and encouraged.The positions are remote, with select opportunities to visit with leadership in NYC, Boston, London and other tech hubs or attend conferences.
