Mountaintop Golf and Lake Club is a high-end private facility in the beautiful mountains of Cashiers, North Carolina. We offer a wide assortment of activities for the whole family and our golf operation is unlike anything else!

Essential Responsibilities

At Mountaintop we know how important a budding professional's development is for their future in the industry. We are a seasonal club that is open from May to November, which gives us an excellent opportunity to plan for our incoming staff. That is why we can offer a well-rounded internship experience that allows staff members to see all parts of the operation in the six-month season.

Although most of the job is outside we belive it is important to put our staff in areas where they can greatly improve the golfer experience. Interns will get the opportunity to learn from the 10 different PGA professionals that we have on staff. Each month an intern will be assigned a professional to shadow and assist in their responsibilities.

• Supplies Ordering
• Hard/Soft Goods Inventory and Ordering
• Demo Days and Club Fitting
• Caddying
• Starter
• Scheduling
• Cart Fleet Management
• Bag Room Organization
• Club Repair
• Introductory Teaching with Clinics and Camps
• Tee Sheet Management
• Practice Facility and Cart Staging Operation
