We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinarian to join our collaborative 3 doctor team in Brooklyn, New York. This role is well suited for a veterinarian with internship training in small animal or emergency medicine with minimum of 2 years post-internship experience who enjoys a busy, appointment driven caseload with daytime urgent care support. Surgery is not a requirement, though opportunities are available for those who wish to perform routine procedures. The ideal candidate is confident, client focused, communicates clearly, and works well within a team-oriented environment.
What to Expect
A schedule that respects your time. This is a 32 hour per week schedule across 4 shifts with no on-call duties or holiday work. The hospital is open 9am to 7pm Monday through Thursday, plus 9am to 5pm Friday and Saturday – with the last appointment booked 30 minutes before close. Doctors see 16 to 18 pets per day with 30-minute appointments.
A 3:1 staff to doctor ratio. You will have the support—and respect—you need to be excellent for our patients. Our team consists of 3 DVMs, 2 LVTs, 8 Assistants, and 5 CSRs.

Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
Valid veterinary license in the state of New York
Internship Training (Small Animal Internal Medicine or Emergency)
2+ years post-internship experience
