Position Summary:
Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Social Scientist to join our Madison, WI office. We provide research design, data collection, and analytic services that enable our clients to make business-critical decisions using high-quality data. The right candidate will have extensive knowledge of survey research methods (design and implementation). Progression to management possible in this position. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Your Role:
- Accountable for high-quality quantitative research
- Collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams
- Provide expert guidance to the in-house Survey Research Center
- Deliver accurate results and useful recommendations based on analysis of data
- Present results via written reports, oral presentations, and reporting dashboards
- Contribute to business development, project management, and staff development
- Embrace continuous learning
Requirements
- PhD in social sciences required
- Five or more years experience working with data
- Understanding of data collection methods and advanced statistical models
- History of independent research
- Advanced written skills
- Communicate results to technical and non-technical audience
Starting Annual Salary:
$80,000-$110,000
