Pronghorn Club is seeking an enthusiastic, service-driven, and highly motivated golf professional to join our team as an PGA Golf Intern. Located in beautiful Bend, Oregon, Pronghorn is a premier private club known for its exceptional golf, outstanding member experience, and stunning high-desert setting. With two nationally recognized championship courses, Pronghorn offers an exciting environment for a golf professional looking to build their career while working alongside an experienced and dedicated golf team.

As a PGA Golf Intern, you will play an integral role in delivering the elevated level of service and hospitality that defines the Pronghorn experience. Working closely with the Head Golf Professional and golf management team, you will be involved in all facets of the golf operation, including daily golf shop operations, outside services, member engagement, tournaments, events, and player development. Experience Required

Registered PGA PGM Associate working towards Class A.

- Previous experience in a golf-related role or relevant education in golf management, required.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

- Knowledge of golf equipment, rules, and etiquette.

- Valid Driver's License

Essential Responsibilities

Serve as an ambassador of hospitality and goodwill to all members, guests, and fellow team members.

- Greet and welcome members and guests throughout the club and Pro Shop; anticipate and assist with their daily needs to ensure an exceptional experience.

- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the entire golf operation, including all Club rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

- Carry out opening and closing procedures following standard operating procedures for reconciliation, site security, etc.

- Collect fees and process payments in line with club procedures, including shop purchases and greens fees.

- Assist in organizing and running tournaments and other events.

- Organize and control play ensuring members and guests receive the best service and enjoyment during their day.

- Maintain familiarity with all merchandise and products in the Golf Shop to support sales and member service.

- Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

- Reconcile daily transactions in the EZ Links system with corresponding tee sheet activity.

- Assist with basic club repair services as needed.

- Private and group golf instructions for members and guests opportunities are available.

- Operate within the guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as established by Pronghorn Club

- Support all operational areas of the golf department as needed.

- Be available during weekends and holidays.
